Mobile Bar Hire in Kannur and North Kerala

Hiring a mobile bar should be simple. Knowing what to compare makes it simpler. This guide covers the essentials for hosts in Kannur, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Kasaragod.

What a mobile bar is

A mobile bar is a complete drinks service that comes to your venue: a counter, glassware, tools, mixers, garnishes and trained bartenders. Instead of hiring each part separately, you book one team that handles everything.

What it costs

Our packages start at ₹25,000 for 25 guests and four hours. Essential Sip serves four mocktails, Grand serves four cocktails and four mocktails from ₹40,000, and Elite offers seven curated drinks with live flair and crystal glassware from ₹60,000. Extra guests are priced in blocks of 25, and extra hours cost ₹3,000 each.

How to compare providers

  • Counter: how long is it, and does it come apart for easy access?
  • Glassware: is it included, and what quality is it?
  • Staff: are the bartenders trained and certified?
  • Menu: are mocktails given the same care as cocktails?
  • Licences: will they guide you through the NOC and FL6 process?
  • Pricing: are extra guests and hours stated clearly?

Dry hire explained

Most mobile bars in Kerala work on a dry hire basis. You arrange the alcohol, and the company supplies the counter, crew and craft. This keeps responsibilities clear and keeps your event within the law. Read more in our dry hire post.

When to book

For weekends between October and May, aim for four to eight weeks ahead, and longer for wedding dates. Venues in Wayanad or far from Naduvil may need extra planning, so tell us early. Quieter months allow shorter notice.

What to ask when you enquire

Ask what is included in the price, how many bartenders are provided, which glassware is used and how the provider handles licences. Ask who will arrive, when they will arrive and how long they will stay. A reliable provider answers each question clearly and in writing.

Common mistakes

The most common mistakes are booking too late, choosing on price alone, overlooking mocktails and forgetting about the licence. Another is ignoring the venue: a counter that cannot get through the door is a counter that cannot be used. Share the venue details early and let the provider check them.

What a good quote includes

A clear quote lists the package, the number of guests and hours, the menu, the number of bartenders, the glassware, any extra fees and the payment terms. It should explain what is not included, such as alcohol under dry hire. If anything is vague, ask for it to be written down.
